This penthouse perched atop a beachfront residential building offers a sweeping view of the Mediterranean coastline. Spanning 300 square meters indoors and an additional 120 square meters across three terraces, this property is owned by a London-based couple in their sixties—the husband, a businessman, and his wife, an enthusiastic reader engaged in various social activities.
The owners envisioned a design that harmonizes modernity with timelessness, merging local and international influences. Their aspiration was to infuse contemporary elements with authentic regional touches, capturing the serene essence of the Mediterranean throughout the space.
With its proximity to the beach, the penthouse serves as both a private haven for its occupants and an exclusive venue for entertaining a wide social circle. From business engagements to family gatherings and charitable events, the penthouse stands as an elegant setting for diverse occasions.
Arad, collaborating externally with London-based design consultancy SIAW, spearheaded the interior design approach. With a history of collaboration spanning several years, Arad integrated her expertise to create a design that embodies the client's vision—a fusion of influences and experiences resonating throughout the space.
